When our Pilot Provider first contacted us it was based on a recent CQC report which showed that they were not meeting an acceptable standard within their service.
Service Users and their families were not happy and the staff were not happy.
So our Pilot Provider asked for the support and guidance of The Edith Ellen Foundation.
We undertook our Kindness Audit, which is a quality improvement and
practice development guidance with a diagnostic assessment structure that shows
managers and staff in all health and social care settings, and at all levels of
organisation, to measure the quality of what they do from the perspective of
the person using their services, their families and carers.
After we produced our report, our Pilot Provider asked for further assistance from The Edith Ellen Foundation and we have since supported them through many new developments.
In our Pilot Providers recent CQC report we are pleased to announced that with the help of the Edith Ellen Foundation their new rating is....
Well done to every one involved.
Now the hard work really begins to exceed this rating and provide continuous outstanding care.
Baby Bloggers & Mummy support The Edith Ellen Foundation a registered charity (No.1153733), we write independently of the foundation & our opinions are our own. Together, we believe in dignity and respect for the elderly and compassion in care. We hope together to provide valuable, inspirational dignity in care resources that address needs of isolation, emotional pain, grief and loss. We want to encourage you to be the best carers to older people that you can be.
